Filter Recommendation

The orange fluorochrome of ZytoLight products is ZyOrange: Excitation 547 nm, emission 572 nm (equivalent to Rhodamine), green fluorochrome is ZyGreen: Excitation 503 nm, emission 528 nm (equivalent to FITC).
To achieve optimal signal intensity our filter recommendations are:
ZytoVision^®: ZyOrange Singlebandpass filter set for ZyOrange; ZyGreen Singlebandpass filter set for ZyGreen.
Vysis™: Orange singlebandpass filter set for ZyOrange; Green singlebandpass filter set for ZyGreen.
Zeiss™: Filter set # 15 or # 43HE for ZyOrange; # 46HE for ZyGreen.
Chroma™: Filter set 41003 or 41007a for ZyOrange; 41028 for ZyGreen.

Solutions

10 mM Citric acid pH 6.0

dissolve 1.92 g C₆H₈O₇ in 900 ml distilled water



adjust to pH 6.0 using 0.5 M NaOH (approx. 4.5 ml)



add distilled water to 1000 ml



autoclave

NOTE:  store up to 1 year at RT

1 M Sodium thiocyanate

1. dissolve 81,07 g NaSCN in 900 ml distilled water
   
   
2. add distilled water to 1000 ml
   
   NOTE:  TOXIC!
   store up to 3 months at RT
